Entreprise Tier - Application Behaviour

Entreprise application functions allow the progress of its Business Processes. When an eReader Tier is introduced, some application functions will be integrated with the device when it provides added value. There are different ways to integrate those functions with the eReader device:

Using Internet Technologies : developing a web interface for the eReading device.
Using specific Apps, integrated with the Entreprise Backend. For example, the iPad integrates payment to Apple via iTunes.

The following diagram lists some Application Services of the Entreprise Tier.
