The recent arrivalof new
eReader devices like the iPad and its competitors open new ways of
consuming information. This leads to the design of new applications.
The eReading Reference Architecture aims at showing a way to design and document those new systems. By using 4 main tiers in the architecture (eReader, Desktop, Web and Entreprise), one can design and document many different scenarios like eBooks, Magazines, Patient Files... This Reference Architecture is also a showcase on how to apply Entreprise Architecture like Archimate and KAOS. It's alos a good example of using BOUML as a case tool. I hope this work can help you designing your own killer innovative eReading application in the future. |
